The Kardashian's timeline

First Date

December 2010: Kim begins dating the New Jersey Net in December of 2010. Lala Vasquez, Kim's BFF and wife of pro baller Carmelo Anthony, told our Party Girl at the time: "All the NBA guys are good guys and my friends. I just want my friend to be happy, whoever it is....if that makes her happy, I'm happy."



Meet the Family!

January 2011: Soon after ringing in the New Year solo in Vegas, Kim joins Kris, his sister Kaela and his parents in Minnesota for dinner and makes quite the impression. "They think she is really nice, considerate and pretty," a source told E! News.


Birthday Boy

February 4, 2011: Kim helps Kris celebrate his 26th year by accompanying him to an intimate dinner with his mom and dad in Manhattan, where, according to a source, Kim graciously picked up the tab.


Family Bonding

February 18, 2011: Kris already seems like part of the family while spending time with Kim's sister Khloé and her hubby Lamar Odom as they make their first high-profile appearance in downtown L.A.

Double Date Night

March 8, 2011: The cute couple hang with Kim's step-brother Brody Jenner at the release party for Avril Lavigne's new album in NYC.



Long-Distance Love

March 24, 2011: Rumors run rampant that Kim is eyeing places to live in New York City so she can be closer to Kris, but the speculation is ultimately shot down.


We're Engaged!

May 18, 2011: After six months of dating and getting permission from Bruce Jenner, Kris pops the question to Kim at her L.A. home. The rock weighed in at a whopping 20.5 carats and Kim happily accepted. Her whole family helped the happy couple celebrate that night.



Registered!

June 14, 2011: The couple registers at ritzy Geary's of Beverly Hills. The list included "everyday" items like cereal bowls, crystal vases, pitchers and napkin rings, for a grand total of $172,000.


Another Engagement Party

June 16, 2011: Li'l sis Khloé Kardashian Odom threw a last-minute engagement party for the gorgeous duo at her L.A. home. Celeb guests like Lala Vasquez, Brittny Gastineau and L.A. Laker Jordan Farmar attended the shindig where they munched on sliders, chicken satay and cotton candy.



Kris Jenner's Pre-Wedding Prep

July 14, 2011: Momager Kris Jenner goes under the knife for a mini face lift to prep for her daughter's walk down the aisle. And in true Kardashian style, cameras are there to capture the procedure


Bridal Shower & Double Bachelor(ette) Parties

July 22, 2011: Mom Kris throws a bridal shower for Kim in L.A. Guests include Demi Lovato, Serena Williams, Mel B and Brittny Gastineau, while Kim's hubby-to-be stops by to help her open presents. They later take the party to Vegas where Kim and Kris have supposedly separate bachelor and bachelorette parties, but Kim can't resist making a quick cameo at his soiree.



Last Pre-Wedding Public Appearance

August 17, 2011: Just two days before they tie the knot in Montecito, Kris escorts Kim to her Kardashian Kollection launch party at the Colony in L.A. This is their final public showing together prior to getting hitched.


Married!

Aug. 20, 2011: They do! Before walking down the aisle, Kris sends out his last tweet as a single man: "This is it!" They tie the knot at a private estate in surrounded by family and friends, including Brody Jenner, Avril Lavigne, Lindsay Lohan, Eva Longoria, Ryan Seacrest, Julianne Hough, Kathie Lee Gifford, Mel B, Mario Lopez, George Lopez, Serena Williams and more.



Ring Cycle

Sept. 27, 2011: Tabloids go into overdrive when Kim and Kris are both spotted without their wedding bands, though the stars quickly deny rumors of a rift and claim that they simply do not wear jewelry while going to and from the gym—where most of the ringless shots were taken.


Something Brewing?

Oct. 26, 2011: A once-again solo Kim gets her Halloween on, dressing up as a witch at the X Factor viewing party


It's Over

Oct. 31, 2011: Bombshell! Within an hour of E! News confirming that the couple had split, Kim formally files for divorce from Kris in Los Angeles Superior Court, citing irreconcilable differences.
